Half more than before!
Microsoft has just announced a rather interesting change in the structure of the videoconference present in the Skype service. Of course, we are talking about the possibility of making a video call with up to 50 people – the current limit was 25 participants of such a conversation at the same time.
Such a novelty may turn out to be primarily for companies using the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem. Interestingly, the company finally came to mind and from now on the creation of video conferencing will not involve annoying calls to each user individually.
From now on, invited people will only receive a notification and can easily join the conversation if they have time. This solution is certainly less irritating than the disturbing window and the sound of the incoming call.
Innovation is now in beta and is available in Skype Insider. This does not mean, however, that it is available only to a small group of people – anyone interested can download a special version of the program from its official website.
This change allows us to notice that Microsoft constantly cares about its services and strives to dynamically develop them. Skype has existed since 2003 and since then it has traveled quite a long and winding road – although the glory years of this platform have already passed and it is currently used mainly by corporate clients, it should be admitted that for a program with such a long experience, it advises really good.
